FILM - Kid with a Bike @ Open Film Society 18.30h Posted: 04 Feb 2013 09:56 AM PST The Open University Film Society is screening the French film, co-winner of the Grand Prize of the Jury for Best Film at 2011 Cannes Film Festival, \'The Kid with a Bike\' on Weds 13th February at 18.30 hrs. You can watch a preview of the film at http://www.openfilmsociety.co.uk/index.php/the-kid-with-a-bike/ To get there, don’t get lost. Here you have a Google map of the Open Film Society Facilities (Parking lot and Projection room): http://is.gd/OpenFilmSociety_Map. The Open Film Society is a non-profit film organisation, offering some of the best alternative cinema in Milton Keynes. Housed at the Open University, the Open Film Society has excellent facilities. Films will be shown usually at 6:30pm Wednesday evening. There is a fully licensed bar that opens at 5:30pm. We are very sorry but NO ONE UNDER THE AGE of 16 can be admitted. |

Wednesday 27 April / Further details TBC Encompassing varying and shared interests ranging from (but not exclusive to) Illustration, Music, Photography and Filmmaking, all mixed together with a healthy dose of skateboarding, the Stanley Basin Collective is a platform for young and emerging creatives from around Milton Keynes to showcase their own personal work and projects to a wider audience building on the already blossoming local creative scene. Excuse me, isn't that my hat? is the collective's first physical exhibition, in which we will showing a multitude of printed works alongside live musical performances and film projections. |
