Wheatley Bequest Fine Art Fellowship 2013/14 Posted: 06 Jun 2013 02:06 AM PDT The School of Art, Birmingham Institute of Art and Design, seeks applications from practising fine artists for a Fine Art Fellowship under the terms of the Wheatley Bequest. The Fellowship has been created by Birmingham City University in conjunction with the Trustees of the Wheatley Estate and is the outcome of a generous bequest by the late Richard Wheatley. The Fellowship offers an exciting opportunity for an artist at the commencement of or at a critical point in their professional career, to further develop his or her practice, based in the School of Fine Art. Some opportunity for teaching will be given and the successful applicant will be expected to become a full and active member of the academic and research community within the Department.
