Steve Winch - Somewhere South of Heaven

Posted: 18 Jun 2013 11:55 PM PDT

Friday 28th June sees MK based singer/songwriter Steve Winch release his second album Somewhere South of Heaven at The Stables, Wavendon.

Once described as the bastard son of Bob Dylan and Billy Bragg, Steve Winch is a singer/songwriter and troubadour with a compulsion to perform. To find out more about Steve and to buy his CDs go to www.stevewinch.co.uk

Steve has appeared as a guest on the Music:MK show with Caz Tricks on Secklow Sounds radio (www.secklowsounds.org) and these programmes are available on both Mixcloud and Spreaker via the Secklow Sounds website.

Steve's first album Small Town Adventures in Hi-Fi was an exercise in minimalism (one vocal and acoustic guitar); Somewhere South of Heaven sees him expand his sonic palette by means of recording with other musicians whilst still retaining an essentially acoustic sound.
