Birmingham Literature FestivalThe Birmingham Literature Festival (formerly Birmingham Book Festival) takes place between 3 -12 October 2013. Venues include the new Library of Birmingham, Ikon Gallery and Birmingham Cathedral. Writing West Midlands needs a flexible, responsible co-ordinator who can take on the management and logistics of the festival, both in preparation and delivery, working alongside the existing team.

The role is busy and varied and includes evenings and weekends.  It requires knowledge of the city, strong organisational and interpersonal skills and confidence in managing volunteers.

The Co-Ordinator will work flexibly for 12 weeks from 29 July – 18 October. This is likely to break down as 2/3 days per week from 29 July – 13 Sept and full time 16 Sep – 18 Oct. Hours and days are open to negotiation.
