Entropic Union: live Q&A given by leading academics at Legnica Posted: 12 Apr 2013 06:49 AM PDT Head of School, Dr Alec Shepley, in conjunction with Senior Lecturer and Photographer Clive McCarthy (Programme Leader Interactive Design) and Senior Academic Steve Dutton, are presenting a paper and Q&A session today at the Galleria Sztuki in Legnica in Poland, alongside their current exhibition Entropic Union. The exhibition comprises an installation of 40 photographic works by Alec Shepley (above right) and Clive McCarthy (above centre), which opened on Saturday 23 March and which has been curated by Professor in Contemporary Art Practice, Steve Dutton (above left), furthers the 'unfinished project' as a means to open up potential spaces for renewed practice. The paper and Q&A are being filmed, and a catalogue to accompany the exhibition is currently being published. Legnica, which is located in South West Poland, close to the German border, is to become European City of Culture in 2016. |
