Update on the construction of the new home for Art and Design

The new building to house the School of Art and Design, which is currently undergoing construction, appears to be making real progress, with most of the insulating external walls now in, as well as windows, and the outer bricks are also now starting to appear.



The Head of School, Dr Alec Shepley, was invited to take a tour last week, to see for himself how the internal space is coming along, and has provided us with the following shots.









It's easy to forget just how much progress has been made.  The following shots were taken at the start of the  construction a few months ago.
