Mini Makers

Master the art of Dohl Drumming

Saturday 14 April / 1 - 3pm / Free

Suitable for children aged 4+

The session will start promptly at 1pm in MK Gallery's Project Space where participants will learn the basic skills of Dhol drumming,  before heading over to Campbell Park to experience Ivan and Heather Morrison's Cave commission and enjoy playing these magnificent drums in the open landscape.

Cave Painting with Clare Ridgeway

Saturday 7 April / 1 - 3pm / Free

Suitable for children aged 4+

Discover story telling through images; learn the difference between a pictograph (painted picture on a wall) and a petroglyph (carved/engraved picture on a rock or cave wall) and create your own designs. Add your mark making to our purpose built 'cave tent' to experience a collective story display.
