Performers required for a touring show: Brewing Up

Festive Road is looking to contract up to 8 freelance artists/performers, musicians and dancers with experience of performing in outdoor arts productions.

Festive Road is an artist led Community Interest Company based in Milton Keynes.
|

For the last two years (2010-11) we have been developing Brewing Up - an experimental carnival arts project - as a work in progress which is exploring the perfect qualities, the right conditions and many traditions which surround our nation’s great tea drinking obsession.
The project was awarded the Olympic Inspire Mark in 2010 and has again been awarded it in 2012 when it will be produced as a touring show. The project is supported by Arts Council England and Milton Keynes Council.

We are looking to tour Brewing Up as a choreographed show with a team of up to 10 artists. The tour will be supporting events and festivals across the South East that will bring people together to celebrate and feel part of the London 2012 Games.

|
|
|
|
The show will be a working collaboration between the musicians, performers, dancers and makers involved and will be directed by Sian Thomas and Manuela Benini.
