Scribal Gathering - The Second Anniversary

Posted: 09 Feb 2012 02:04 AM PST

Is Scribal Gathering two years old already?! Don't they grow up so fast!

Scribal Gathering celebrates its second anniversary on Tuesday 14th February with a party bag of music, poetry and stand up comedy. Put on your best dresses and birthday suits as we invite you to blow out the candles on the cake of live performance, spike the punch of poetry and gorge yourself sick on the jelly and ice cream of music.

There will be the usual open-minded open mic, welcoming performers of any style, genre or level of incompetence to share their creativity, plus featured performances from special guests - The Antipoet will be getting the bumps and Kate Lucas will be sticking her fingers in the trifle.

In addition to all this, we will have games, treats, prizes and the Unwanted Present Exchange - just like Secret Santa, you dig out some dreadful misappropriated present that someone gave you that you have never used, wrap it up and bring it along to exchange for something else that nobody wants.

So this Valentine's Day, treat your loved one to a Watney's Party Seven of the finest live entertainment around - and if you can't be with the one you love, come to Scribal Gathering. Join us...

Where: The Cock Hotel, 72- 74 High Street, Stony Stratford

When: Tuesday 14th February 2012

How: Free entry - sign up for open mic on the night. Arrive early, stay late.
