Windmills and Wheels with Simon Oldhams

Saturday 17 March / 1 - 3pm / Free

Suitable for children aged 4+

Mini Makers is our weekly programme of drop-in sessions for children aged 4+ and their families, which explore art in all its forms through a selection of varied and creative, artist-led activities.

The focus of this week's session will be on turning junk and reclaimed materials into energy.  Experiment with Festive Road's bicycle power generator, create machines from scrap materials and run tests to try to capture the elements so these may be turned into useful energy. All inspired by our Festive Road exhibition in the Project Space.
