1 June - 24 November 2013

The 55th Venice Biennale starts this week. As well as showcasing work from across the globe, (the list of Pavillions can be seen here), this year sees Jeremy Deller in the British Pavillion and Ikon Gallery Director Jonathan Watkins curate the Iraq Pavillion.

For those visiting in the next few days -  Artquest, in partnership with Axis and engage have created The Artists Pavilion - a social space reserved for visual artists during the Venice Biennale preview days (29-31 May 2013). It is a space for visual artists to meet each other, plan their visit to the Venice Biennale and find out about working internationally.

Full information on the Biennale can be found here.
