Aortas Open Mic and Song Competition at 13 High St Buckingham

Posted: 14 May 2013 06:09 AM PDT

Wed 15th May - 20:00 until 23:00

Our first Buckingham open mic since the King's Head, and in a venue with proven track record of support for music, hosted by Dan Plews, in conjunction with heat 2 of the Aortas Song Competition (http://www.aortas.org.uk/AORTAS/Songwriting_Competition/Songwriting_Competition.html)

Please invite your friends to our events!

As usual acoustic instruments through a fantastic PA - let us know your tech requirements, especially if travelling.
Music starts with a set from Dan at about 1945, then it's 3-song sets from everyone else until we run out of time, sometimes with a longer slot from an invited guest.
There is drink as thanks for well-behaved/punctual musicians (contradiction in terms?) too, but the main attraction is:

Good audience; good sound.

Arrive early if you want to sit.

See you there?
