Freelance Trainee Music Leader

Posted: 30 May 2012 04:17 AM PDT

Catalyst Theatre Arts are seeking to appoint a freelance Trainee Music Leader to work within our Youth Music funded family disability music workshops.  We are looking for an enthusiastic early career music facilitator who is willing to learn on the job and who can inspire and develop these family focussed sessions to help raise the awareness and musical aspirations of the participants.  The successful applicant will be a key delivery partner in this programme, working closely with our experienced Creative Director.

This is a paid position.  There are wider opportunities which may be available within the company following this initial training period and therefore a local practitioner is preferred but not essential.

For further information and to download the person specification please visit our website http://catalyst-theatre.co.uk/Projects/TunesTogether

Tech-Free Messaging with Rubbena Aurangzeb-Tariq & Christopher Sacre

Saturday 23 June / 1 - 3pm / Free

Suitable for children aged 4+

A fun afternoon of problem solving with a creative twist.

Technology may be at the heart of how we communicate today but is there another way?  This session offers a chance to explore how we can get our message across without the need for technology, through the use of symbols, signs and cups.

This session is BSL interpreted.
