The Community Foundation develops local philanthropy and raises money for its growing grant making programme from a wide range of fund development activities. We support a diverse range of charities and local voluntary and community groups across MK. The following exciting role within the Community Foundation has arisen for an individual who has passion for the work of the voluntary and community sector and has exceptional interpersonal skills, charisma, energy and empathy towards community needs.

Temporary Part-Time Grants Officer


One day/week (Fridays) 7.5hrs


Salary: Circa &pound;18,000 pro rata


(Plus an additional 5% towards pension contribution)


&nbsp;


Reporting to the Grants Director, the post holder will be required to provide information to groups applying for funds, manage the grant application and evaluation process, which will include assessments, writing reports, making detailed records of grants meetings and information about groups applying for funds. Having an approachable and supportive manner is essential for the role, together with good writing skills.


&nbsp;


THIS ROLE IS ON A TEMPORARY BASIS, INITIALLY FOR THREE-MONTHS, MAXIMUM TERM 12-MONTHS


&nbsp;

The successful applicant will receive pro rata 28 days holiday (inclusive Bank Holidays) time off in lieu where necessary, work in a friendly, professional environment, and have the fulfilment that comes from really making a difference in the community.
