Heather and Ivan Morison: Cave

Artists Heather and Ivan Morison have been commissioned by MK Gallery in collaboration with The Parks Trust to create a new public artwork for Campbell Park in Milton Keynes. Taking inspiration from the man-made landscape of the park, Cave is formed from three leaning concrete panels and will nestle into the hillside of the Belvedere. The structure will provide visitors with a resting place that offers a panoramic view over the countryside, and also a space to experience urban life at the edge of the new city.

Heather Peak (born in Desborough in 1973) and Ivan Morison were (born in Nottingham in 1974) have exhibited nationally and internationally with recent site-specific projects in Vancouver, Tasmania, Seattle and The Netherlands. The artists live and work in Brighton.

Commissioned by MK Gallery in collaboration with The Parks Trust as part of the Campbell Park Public Art Plan.

Generously supported by Andrew Howard and Partners, Bardon Concrete, Trendrevel Services Ltd. and Camford Concrete Pumps Ltd.
