MK Gallery: English National Ballet Posted: 16 Oct 2012 06:35 AM PDT Pop Up Performance: English National Ballet English National Ballet pop-up experiences are a collaborative series of unexpected site-specific performances and exhibitions taking over spaces for one day or evening. At MK Gallery, principals of the company Begona Cao and Zdenek Konvalina will perform a new work by English National Ballet Associate, artist George Williamson, inspired by our current exhibition James Welling: The Mind on Fire. English National Ballet is one of the world’s great ballet companies, which celebrated its 60th year in 2010. The original vision - to take classical ballet of the highest quality to the widest geographical audience, at price everyone can afford - remains the cornerstone of the Company’s philosophy today. | ||||||||||||||
