Programme Coordinator – Six Summer Saturdays
Freelance contract – May to July 2012
3 days per week – £165 per day

Use your experience of organising artistic events and knowledge of one or
more art-form disciplines to help ensure the Birmingham Hippodrome's free
programme of street theatre and outdoor performance 'Six Summer Saturdays' is
another great success in 2012.

As Programme Coordinator you will manage communications between
stakeholders, ensure production requirements are met and help deliver our
marketing campaign. Whether monitoring budgets, providing admin support or
helping to prepare documentation you will play a key role in ensuring planning
remains on track and events are delivered on schedule. Important will be your
ability to monitor and report on progress.

With experience of organising artistic events and arts administration you will be
able to work to deadlines and deliver under pressure. Able to take the initiative
you will have excellent interpersonal skills and a practical approach to project
delivery. An effective administrator you will be comfortable working on outdoor
projects and flexible to work some evenings, weekends and public holidays.
