Following a successful funding application from Heritage Lottery Fund to deliver a new heritage craft project “Reclaim” artworks-mk an independent arts and education charity based in Milton Keynes are seeking to recruit a part time Heritage Craft Learning Co-coordinator for 16 hours a week fixed term for 15 months until June 2013, Salary pro rate £23,000pa ( £10,858pa) The post will be responsible to the Executive Director of artworks-mk for the co-ordination and implementation of heritage learning activities as part of the Reclaim project.

| Artist Commission for design scheme Posted: 30 Mar 2012 06:47 AM PDT  Milton Keynes Council wishes to appoint an artist to develop a design for dressing the porte cocheres in Central Milton Keynes. The design and its method of application needs to be easy and consistently repeatable across up to 40 porte cocheres. The design will be in place from May-September during the Summer of Culture events programme and may also be used in following years around the same time period to help animate the city. We are seeking proposals from artists that enable cost-effective and quick installation of all or part of a large number of porte cocheres, initial ideas have been in the form of a stencil or stamp but we are seeking the creativity of an artist to develop the concept. A design fee of £1,000 has been allocated for the artist. Artist expressions of interest 12th April, 12pm.
