The Krah is an international artist and has exhibited his work widely as a street artist and professional illustrator worldwide. You will learn about comic style drawing techniques, urban graffiti, character design, stencils and experiment with a wide range of different media to create your own art with impact. Touch of Pink: Close Up - Photography Exhibition - 11 Jan 2013 Posted: 20 Dec 2012 01:31 AM PST ![]() MK Arts for Health invites you to Touch of Pink: Close Up, an exhibition of photographs by Elizabeth Beston and Wendy Grant in collaboration with eight people who have had breast cancer. 6 - 8pm, 11 January 2013 @ Artworks MK, Parklands, Milton Keynes MK14 5DZ Through collaboration with the photographers seven women and one man share their experiences of having breast cancer. The exhibition shows how differently people cope with a diagnosis of cancer and the different places people turn for comfort. Remarkable for their positive attitudes, the participants share both painful and funny moments from their journeys as well as offering practical advice. Through talking openly about cancer the exhibition aims to demystify the treatment processes and help people who are diagnosed with breast cancer to know what to expect. Advanced Watercolour – The Grand Union Art Group with Sally Bostock Mondays: 1pm – 3.30pm (£145)
This is a long-term group of experienced and explorative water-colourists. Participants in this group are discovering and developing their own styles with a very exciting medium and they are also using a variety of other media with their watercolours. The sessions begin with a group discussion, followed by gestural drawing and project work. Artists are encouraged to work through studies for composition and colour, leading to a final piece.
