Sept. 21st & 22nd - Milton Keynes Theatre of Comedy present The Complete History of Comedy.  7.30pm

As their name suggests, they love comedy and so they'll be entertaining you with a collection of the best comedy sketches and songs ever written - material that makes you chuckle! Monty Python, Beyond the Fringe, the Two Ronnies, Smith and Jones, Fry and Laurie, Not the 9 O'clock News, Rowan Atkinson, Comic Relief, Victoria Wood, Mitchell and Webb and many more...The show will be raising funds for Amnesty International and Project Why.

Oct. 1st  7.30pm - The Chrysalis MK present  The Skampa and Rezek Duo on Cello and Piano.      
                    

The Skampa-Rezek Duo was founded in 1992 and has already given more than 450 concerts. Their repertoire covers works from the baroque period to the present day. The pair will be performing a selection of their favourite works in The Chrysalis, and with the wonderful acoustics of the auditorium, it's sure to be an engaging display of musical talent.

Oct. 12th 7.30pm - The Chrysalis MK & Duet Music present  Craig Ogden, Classical Guitarist.

Craig has played at prestigious venues such as The Barbican & The Royal albert Hall and was honoured at the recent Classic Brit Awards as a nominee for Album of the Year.  His first Classic FM album 'The Guitarist' has sold over twenty-five thousand copies and his second album 'Summertime' went straight to number one in the Classical Instrumental Bestsellers chart.

A fun, creative, drop-in session suitable for ages 4+ and their families.


 


These artist-led workshops provide you with an opportunity to contribute to a collaborative artwork, which will be completed by the end of the drop-in session. In the process you will enjoy finding out about an individual artist and their work.


 


During this idea-driven workshop, you will be reflecting on the history of Milton Keynes and where the world is heading today, and you will help create a utopian model of a future town using various materials and techniques, from drawing to sculpture and collage.


 


Alicja Rogalska's work explores themes such as culture, politics and the economy, using sculpture, photography, installation and video, often focusing on a specific location.  In the process she collaborates with a wide range of people, from electroacoustic composers and folk singers to mathematicians.  Alicja, who graduated from Goldsmiths College, London with a Masters in Fine Art, has received awards from both the European Cultural Foundation and Arts Council England, and has exhibited internationally.  As an artist educator Alicia has worked with Tate Britain, Towner Contemporary Art Gallery aand Modern Art Oxford and Creative Partnerships, amongst others.

 Children can play in the centres biggest sandpit yet and be entertained by a traditional Punch and Judy show. No weekend at the seaside would be complete without home-made fish and chips, which will be served up in Frosts Garden restaurant.

Frosts beach will stay open for the whole of the summer holidays, which families can enjoy for free.
