LouDeemy Productions are holding Free workshops to help develop "The Order of Disorder", a play exploring anorexia and disordered eating.

The purpose of the workshops is to develop our current 25 minute piece into a full length play, at the same time offering participants the opportunity to be involved in a fun, innovative, interactive workshop; please feel free to distribute this email to anyone you feel may be interested.

During the 3 hour free workshop, you will be invited to watch an extract from The Order of Disorder, a play exploring anorexia and disordered eating and how it impacts on Evie, the sufferer, and those around her. This will be followed by the opportunity for you to hot-seat the characters, and use forum theatre and interactive work shopping, to explore issues and relationships touched on in the play, further. This process will facilitate the development of the play into a full-length piece; all those who have attended the workshops will be invited to a showcase of the developed piece at a future date.

You may find it useful to watch the link to a videoed performance at Pilot Night before attending, though this is not essential.

at 10am-1pm and 2pm-5 pm
Both workshops will be the same.

We are premiering I Love You . . . Goodbye at the Old Joint Stock Theatre and we are looking for 4 Actors to play the characters, of varying ethnicities;

Cast - All company members should want to be part of a team that explores the limits of Theatre, whilst at the same time enjoying the time working together. We are looking for actors who can display honesty and intelligence in their performances, and who can bring a strong physical presence to their work.

I'll Follow You into the Dark

A couple reunite after a number of years. Clearly they once were an item . . . is their undoubted love for each other still burning strong, somewhere, somehow?

John-Male (playing range 25-45) Martha-Female (playing range 25-45)

Underneath the Stars

A couple, locked in a prison of their own love; did their love deserve to end so tragically, don't they deserve another chance for their love to win through . . .?

Romero – Male (playing range 18-30)

The Actors will come together to play their characters in this piece of semi-devised theatre.

Fee - Actors will each be paid a fee of £150 to cover all expenses and attendance at rehearsals and performance. Fees will be paid at the end of the performances, and each actor will need to take responsibility for their Tax and N.I.
