Husband of Elizabeth of Newton Solney, . Buried at Plovdiv Central Cemetery, Bulgaria CHANDLER Charles Edwin, Private, 2449, 1/6th North Staffordshire regiment, died of wounds 11th May 1915 aged 35. Native of Appleby Magna, Leicestershire, resident in Newton Solney and is buried at R.E. Farm Cemetery, Heuvelland, Belgium GREAVES Hugh Temple, Private 6849, 2nd Seaforth Highlanders, killed in action 19th May 1915 aged 18. Native of Winshill, Staffordshire. Son of Wesley and Emma of Trent Lane, Newton Solney. Commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium JANSEN Francis Charles Theodore, Private PS/10757, 8th Royal Fusiliers, killed in action 31st July 1916. Son of the Rev'd Francis Charles Theodore & Emily Jenson of Newton Solney. Commemorated on the Thiepval memorial, Somme, France MEAD John Robert, Captain, 335th Road Construction Coy, Royal Engineers, died 15th December 1917, son of Margaret. Buried at St Mary's churchyard, Newton Solney VICKERS John Percy, Private 331051, 15th Sherwood Foresters, Notts & Derby Regiment, died of wounds 21st October 1917. Son of Thomas and Sarah of Waterside Cottage, Newton Solney. Buried at Dozinghem Military Cemetery, Belgium VINE George, Private 13051, 22nd Coy, 16th Labour Battalion, Labour Corps, previously Private 31355, Yorkshire regiment died of wounds 9th September 1917 aged 30. Native of Eastbourne, Sussex, son of Albert & Maria and husband of Diana Vine of Newton Solney. Buried at Dozinghem Military Cemetery, Belgium WOOTTON John James, Rifleman, R/18632, 16th King's Royal Rifle Corps, died of wounds 20th May 1917. Son of John & Phoebe of Newton Solney.
