The Maynard, Bagworth

Posted: 12 Dec 2011 12:57 PM PST

Built around 1903/1904, originally names Maynard Arms Hotel, served the village until its closure after a fire in 2008. The roof is covered in local Swithland slate, but now sadly having lead ripped from the roof, the building stands looking very sorry for itself.
