Posted: 09 Dec 2011 08:00 AM PST tatraskoda posted a photo: The Trinity Arts Centre in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire started life as the Holy Trinity Church, which opened for worship in 1843, and the architecture is the work of T. Johnson of Lichfield. Visible for miles, to me this is one of the "signature" buildings of Gainsborough. If you were born within the sound of Bow bells you are a Cockney, but if you were born in sight of the Trinity Spire then you can claim that even rarer distinction, that of being a true Gainsbronian. |
