Posted: 06 Dec 2011 07:59 AM PST New web page: Custard Factory in the News Last week we launched a new page on our website which features mentions of our businesses in the media. The first story was of Luxe Brides, who were featured in the Birmingham Post. This week Space and Time and Traffic have been featured; take a look at the stories here. The permanent link to this page is at the bottom of the Custard Factory website. Make sure to keep checking back for the latest press clippings!
Sara Preisler new exhibition This Christmas Sara Preisler is holding a ceramics exhibition by Claire Ferguson. Claire's work combines fabric and bone china, resulting in unique translucent properties. Sara also has a range of new collections out for Christmas; read all about them in the latest edition of her newsletter.

Clothes Show Live As you probably know Clothes Show Live 2011 is currently on at Birmingham NEC, and a couple of our businesses have been filling us in on what's going on. Craftspace Collective have been inviting visitors to take part in an installation. You can take a look at photos here, the installation is very impressive! Elpromotions supplied models for the Clothes Show for the second year running, and they worked with international shoe brand United Nude. Elpromotions tell us that Rosie Fortescu from Made in Chelsea bought a pair of the shoes. They took a lot of pictures and videos which you can view on their website.

Posted: 23 Nov 2011 12:36 PM PST Maybe you saw our post last week, thanking Digbeth street artists Newso and Agent for their "Welcome to Digbeth Bab" mural outside the coach station? If not, never mind. You had a second chance to read it in Tuesday's Birmingham Mail! A photo of the mural appeared across the top of pages 28-29, DRA's very own Pam's handywork! (Or should that be clickywork?!) In addition, the paper included a public thanking of the artists for their spraywork. Newso has written about the publicity on his blog (see it here). You can also see a photo of the article on his site; as the article appeared in a supplement, it is sadly not available online. Thanks once again to everyone involved. Long live Digbeth bab! | |||||
