Printmaking Course with Caroline Cardus

Posted: 19 Jul 2012 08:02 AM PDT

Award winning local artist Caroline Cardus will be offering the local community a chance to learn a variety of printmaking styles at her class running at Inter-Action MK on Tuesday evenings starting on 24th July. This recession busting course will teach you how to create super chic results on a shoestring as Caroline shares her unique techniques for creating beautiful prints without the need for any expensive specialist equipment.

Caroline has developed a simple and fun “kitchen table printing” course which will provide the opportunity to try a variety of printmaking styles including mark making, simple drawing, colour mixing, working from photographs and hand pressed printing, suitable for all levels of artistic ability.  Caroline proudly said “The technique creates professional results which are beautiful enough to hang on a wall, make into cards, make into collages, or even into books!”

Workshops will be held within the scenic grade two listed building where Inter-Action MK arts centre is based. Workshops have been heavily subsidised so they can be offered to the local community at reduced rates. Workshops are suitable for participants ages 7 – 107!

Call Inter-Action MK on 01908 678514 to snap up your place. Book early to avoid disappointment. Further information about the course can be found at www.interactionmk.org.uk and www.carolinecardus.com
