Arnold Bennett Weekend October Seminar is to be held at Wedgwood College and Conference Centre, near Stoke-on-Trent, on ober 2011. The title is Eighty Years On: The Enduring Legacy of Arnold Bennett. The Society also has dates for its 2012 annual conference, which will take place on 9th June 2012 at the North Staffordshire Medical Institute in Hartshill

Stoke-on-Trent, Exporting Stoke and Beyond: Tiles and Architectural Ceramics in the World Context. This is a Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society conference, and will be held on 12th November 2011 at the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery, Hanley. The conference seeks to place tile making in the city in context of the history of world trade, including the British Empire and its vigourous promotion of free trade.
