Philanthropy Master Class Series: Getting your board 'on board' - Arts & Business

Posted: 19 Sep 2011 05:00 PM PDT

What role should an effective board take in fundraising? Should a board give? Should you have a separate fundraising board? How does your senior management team get the most out of the board? How do the dynamics between management, board and fundraising board work? How can you keep your board fully engaged? What can you do if they won't engage?

In this Master Class Barclay Price, Arts & Business Scotland Director, will steer an "in conversation" style discussion with a fundraiser and chair to explore good (and bad!) practice and consider how well placed UK-based cultural sector boards are in meeting the challenges of a new funding environment.

Registration: 9.30am
Start: 10am
End: 12.45pm (followed by a networking lunch)
