Musicians and performers across Milton Keynes are being offered the opportunity to become part of the award winning Brewing Up, the extravagant musical and visual experiment that celebrates our nation's great tea drinking obsession.
There are currently opportunities for young people to participate in Brewing Up as musicians in a street band or performers entertaining the crowds. Music rehearsals will be led by the highly acclaimed Mat Fox from Kinteika Bloco and dance workshops will be taken by Brazilian movement artist Manuela Benini. The touring show will travel to high profile festivals in 2011 and 2012, such as The Mayor's Thames Festival in London.
Brewing Up is being funded by Arts Council England, MK Council and Northampton Community Foundation making it a FREE opportunity for people in MK and across the South East.
