Sam Eden - 'Sam Eden combines powerful vocals and engaging lyrics with intricate piano melodies and delicate guitar styles. If you want to put Sam in a genre, then conjure one up between folk, rock, pop and ballad. He's played about a thousand shows across the midlands and Wales including performances at Malvern Forum Theatre and Worcester Huntingdon Hall where he supported Martin Turners Wishbone Ash. Sam's played lots of festivals including The Big Chill and Birmingham Arts Fest in 2011 and has received decent airtime on BBC Introducing (Hereford and Worcester), Radio Port Douglas (Australia), BRFM (Wales) and Tudno Radio (Wales) who played Sam as unsigned artist of the week.

Clockwork Revolution - Clockwork Revolution is an Indie band from the University of Birmingham, formed in the early stages of 2012. They perform covers and originals with influences coming from bands like Bloc Party, the Maccabees and Two Door Cinema Club.

Open To Fire - 5 piece Indie Rock band with influences ranging from classic British Rock like Manic Street Preachers and The Beatles to more contemporary US Alt bands such as The Gaslight Anthem and Brand New.

Every Tuesday evening, The Yardbird welcomes three top quality acoustic and stripped down bands playing original material and quirky covers, hosted by Jason Pegg, followed by an open mic from 10pm. To register for the open mic, please see Jason at the sound desk before 9pm for a slot.
