deep-diving craft taking tourists to "inner space".

(In David Toop's words) The ocean of sound is a state of longing which can be heard but not seen. The object of oceanic yearning beyond a far horizon, a volume whose volume immerses the listener, a depth imagined as undifferentiated mind as a body without boundaries, a depth sounded in silence, a depth of concealment out of which rises unknown voices. Like a musical instrument, the ocean is volume and surface. To gaze along the surface of a drum is to see the world as a flat earth whose edges are the end. Under the surface is wave motion, the bathosphere, abject trails and impermanent signs.
